The 2024 U.S.A. presidential election results are in, and the internet is abuzz.
I recorded some of the funniest, most interesting, saddest, truest, and best meme reactions, and I would like to share them with you before offering a few of my own observations. Here are the memes in no particular order…
As funny, interesting, sad, or true as these memes are, in my opinion most of them miss the mark. These are a few meme reactions that come closer to the truth:
Naturally there are democrats and liberals who are losing their minds on the left, and republicans and conservatives who are letting out a deep sigh of relief on the right. Although I have much more sympathy for my friends on the right, and although I can’t help but chuckle at some of the memes above, I am deeply concerned by the inability of the average American, on both the left and the right, to see things clearly. The blindness of the left would be farcical if it weren’t so sad, but the blindness on the right is also troubling.
What do I mean?
Perhaps someone wonders how I voted.
Before I show you, please allow me to explain that it is obvious to any clear thinking person that it would have been an unmitigated disaster to have the communist (see also here, here, and here) and former prostitute (see also here, here, and here) Kamala Harris in office as the most powerful person on earth. But America has survived many unmitigated disasters since at least the time of Woodrow Wilson. In fact, most modern presidents, including Biden, Obama, the Bushes, Clinton, Reagan, and even Kennedy have been pedophiles and puppets of the deep state.
Those on the left who are so blinded by rage or what has properly been called “Trump Derangement Syndrome” seem to think that Trump is the embodiment of all evil and that even a dimwitted, inarticulate, former prostitute who champions abortion would be better for the country. Those on the right who are so blinded by their desire for a political savior - and even those who justly hope for leftist insanity to disappear - cannot imagine the possibility that Trump has ulterior motives, or that something more nefarious is at work behind the proverbial curtain.
Isn’t it obvious, though, that despite the fact that modern liberalism or progressivism is one of the most bankrupt and worthless ideologies, there are still reasons to be suspicious of the man who presided over the country at the beginning of the so-called pandemic? As corrupt and degenerate an ideology as modern progressivism or liberalism is, isn’t it also obvious that a man with such close connections to Jeffrey Epstein and Robert Maxwell (see here and here), merits more scrutiny?
In case my point still isn’t clear, let me put it more bluntly. Isn’t it obvious by now that a band of evil and conspiring men and women has been manipulating the masses and inflaming public opinion so as to divide good American citizens against each other? Isn’t it obvious by now that the thread that once held the last fragments of the Constitution was severed a long time ago? Isn’t it obvious by now that behind a façade of the representative and constitutional republic that our Founders so wisely established, the Potemkin village federal government - which is in reality a cabal of diabolical criminals - has dragged the once great United States of America to the brink of destruction, and that the sword of the Lord’s justice now hangs over us?
Are we too blind, too busy, too distracted, too complacent, too naïve, too foolish, or too indoctrinated to see things as they really are?
Let me share once more the meme that drives closest to the truth of our awful situation, even as the most sane among us breathe a deep sigh of relief that the tyrant Kamala is not our president:
Clearly nothing but personal, individual repentance and collective, national repentance will preserve the United States of America from utter destruction, regardless of which deep state tyrant rules over us.
Our Lord cannot return too soon.
Very well said. The serious memes cause me to reflect. The others have me going "Heck yeah!!!"
I used to think Trump was the lesser of two evils. Now I believe he is controlled opposition. There are three bad injustices that have happened recently and upset conservatives.
The raid on the Miller farm and persecution of Amos Miller. The death of poor Peanut the Squirrel. The bureaucrats messing up relief efforts after Hurricane Helene.
None of those had anything to do with Biden or Harris. They were handled by state or local agencies and unelected bureaucrats from alphabet agencies.
Trump would not have stopped them. It's not the president's job to run everything. This persecution by governors, mayors and bean counters went on under Trump. We should expect more of the same nonsense that occurred in 2020 and plan accordingly at the local level. Maybe RFK will decide global warming (he fully supports that stuff) is causing health issues and more transportation and farming restrictions are needed.
